Khayla serves as the Clinic Administrator at our urgent care center, where she expertly manages daily operations, patient care, and team coordination. Originally from New York, she has spent the last five years in Georgia before making Texas her home for the past five years. With an Associates degree in Health Science and over a decade of experience as a Medical Assistant since 2010, Khayla brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for healthcare to her role. 

Khayla’s journey into healthcare was profoundly influenced by her early experience as a Medical Assistant, where she realized the impact of hands-on, patient-centered care. Drawn to the fast-paced and dynamic nature of urgent care, she thrives on the challenge of addressing a wide range of medical issues in a timely manner. Her role as Clinic Administrator allows her to combine her strong management and organizational skills with her passion for healthcare, ensuring that the clinic runs smoothly and efficiently. 

Khayla finds great fulfillment in her role, particularly in helping her team grow professionally and fostering a positive workplace culture. She enjoys the daily opportunities to streamline processes, improve patient flow, and tackle unforeseen challenges. For her, overseeing a team that delivers timely and effective care is incredibly rewarding, as it not only contributes to quality patient care but also supports her own professional development. 

Outside of work, Khayla loves to read, spend quality time with her son, and attend sporting events, even if she doesn't always know what's happening on the field. For her, being a mom is her greatest personal accomplishment, and she brings that same dedication and care to her role at the clinic.
